We Don't See
Your Numbers.

Summary — What You Actually Need to Know

  • Your cost inputs are processed inside your browser using JavaScript. They are never sent to our server. We have no database record of any number you've entered.
  • Your dark/light mode preference is saved to your browser's localStorage as the string "light" or "dark". It never leaves your device.
  • We serve ads via Google AdSense. Google may place a cookie. You can opt out at Google Ads Settings.
  • If you use our contact form, we receive your name, email, and message. We use it only to respond. No mailing lists. No CRM.
  • We do not run Google Analytics, Hotjar, Mixpanel, or any behavioural tracking tool on this site.

1. Who Is Responsible for This Policy

BadBit.site is operated independently and is not a registered legal entity offering financial services. The tool is a free, informational resource for internal business planning. Privacy enquiries can be directed to privacy@badbit.site. We respond to all privacy-related correspondence within 72 hours on business days.

2. What Data the Calculator Processes

When you type your monthly SaaS spend, cloud costs, and team size into the tool, those numbers are handled exclusively by JavaScript running in your own browser tab. The calculation engine makes no external HTTP requests. Our web server never receives your cost data — it only serves the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript files needed to load the page.

To verify this yourself: open your browser's Developer Tools (F12), go to the Network tab, and run a calculation. You will see no outbound requests carrying your input data. The architecture enforces the privacy claim — it isn't a policy that could quietly change without you noticing.

3. PDF Report Export

Clicking "Download PDF Report" opens a new browser window using your device's built-in print engine (window.print()). Your cost data is formatted locally, inside that browser window, and rendered into a PDF by your operating system's print dialogue. Nothing is uploaded to a cloud print service. Nothing passes through our servers.

4. Local Storage (Theme Preference)

We store one item in your browser's localStorage: the key bb-theme with a value of either "light" or "dark". This persists your visual preference between sessions. It is not a cookie, it cannot be read cross-domain, and it never leaves your device. You can clear it at any time by opening your browser's Developer Tools and deleting it manually, or by clearing your site data.

5. Google AdSense

This site displays contextual and personalised advertisements through Google AdSense (publisher ID: ca-pub-9216824446787202). To serve these ads, Google may place a _ga or IDE cookie in your browser. These cookies are set by Google's domain, not ours.

Under GDPR, Google acts as an independent data controller for advertising data. You can manage your ad personalisation preferences at Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of third-party advertising cookies via aboutads.info. For a full description of what data Google collects through AdSense and how it's used, see Google's Privacy Policy.

6. Google Fonts

We load the Inter and Syne typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser requests these font files, Google's CDN servers log your IP address, browser type, and the referring URL. This is a standard CDN log, not targeted tracking. If you prefer, you can block Google Fonts requests in your browser's developer tools without affecting the calculator's functionality — a system sans-serif font will be used as a fallback.

7. Contact Form Submissions

If you submit the contact form on our Contact page, we receive your name, email address, company name (if you choose to enter it), and your message. We use this data solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not add your email to any newsletter, marketing list, or third-party CRM. We store correspondence for up to 12 months in case you follow up on an earlier query. After 12 months, email correspondence is permanently deleted.

9. Your Rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. Because we hold almost no personal data by design — only contact form correspondence for up to 12 months — most requests can be fulfilled immediately. Write to privacy@badbit.site with the subject line "Privacy Request" and describe what you need. We'll respond within 72 hours.

10. Children Under 16

This tool is designed for business professionals and is not directed at individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a child has submitted information through our contact form, please email privacy@badbit.site immediately and we will delete it.

11. Policy Changes

If we make a change that meaningfully affects how your data is handled — for example, by adding an analytics tool or a server-side API — we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and post a notice on the homepage at least 14 days before the change takes effect. We will not bury changes in a long revision log.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about enterprise SaaS cost optimization and IT infrastructure ROI.

AI-driven SaaS optimization typically saves enterprises 15–20% annually by identifying unused licenses, redundant subscriptions, duplicate tool coverage, and by automating vendor contract renegotiations. For a team of 100 spending $50,000/month, that's $90,000–$120,000 saved per year.

An Enterprise SaaS Audit is a systematic review of all software subscriptions, cloud services, hosting, and IT spending across your organization. It identifies waste, optimizes licensing tiers, maps tool overlap, and creates a clear IT infrastructure ROI roadmap for executive stakeholders and CFOs.

Cost Per Employee = Total Annual IT Spend ÷ Team Size. Industry benchmarks for B2B tech budgeting range from $1,200–$5,000/employee/year depending on sector. This metric is critical for board presentations, IT budget planning cycles, and benchmarking against industry peers.

Include all cloud infrastructure costs: AWS/GCP/Azure compute, storage, CDN, database services, DNS, SSL management, backup, monitoring tools, and any managed hosting. Cloud infrastructure optimization can yield an additional 10–25% savings through right-sizing, reserved instances, and spot pricing strategies.

The 15–20% savings range is derived from Gartner, Flexera, and McKinsey research on enterprise SaaS spend patterns. The actual savings depend on your current vendor contracts, license utilization rates, and negotiation leverage. Use this tool as a directional benchmark, then engage a certified SaaS optimization consultant for a detailed audit.
